One of the staples of Summertime is having a nice cute pair of sandals. Ideally, they are comfortable and match any outfit you choose. This applies to children as well as adults. I’ve been lucky enough to find an excellent pair of sandals for myself from Amazon and I am so sad summer is almost over. For my daughter, I think we have found her favorite! They are the denim and gold girl’s sandals from Chillipop. They feature two buckle straps that secure around the ankle. I love that design because my daughter loves taking shoes off but with the double buckle, that issue has disappeared! I love the color contrast between the gold and denim straps. One thing that we try to do in our house is instill a love of reading in our kids. Growing up, my favorite series was the Goosebumps series. Although I did not own every single book, I am pretty sure I have read each one at least once. They were not exactly Scholastic book fair worthy (also a favorite!), but they had me mesmorized. I especially loved the "choose your own ending" books. These days, I am into different romantic novels as well as biographies.
