Who doesn't love free money?

When I'm not spending my time playing referee with my kids, cleaning up a mess or doing a mountain of laundry, I am searching the web for my next great deal. Shopping is one of my favorite past-times and if I can save money while doing it, it is a plus. But if I can get money back, I'm SO there! Fast forward to when I found Dosh. Dosh is an app that is available on iPhone and Android whose motto is "Get paid to shop, get paid to eat, get paid to sleep.  Ooooh, pretty purple! Sounds pretty great, right? Where does this free money come in? Don't worry, here it comes! Once you download the app to your phone, you sign up and link a credit or debit card. Why? You get $5 automatically added to your Dosh account. Not only that, but when you shop through Dosh's links using the linked card, you get a certain percentage of cash back on those purchases! $25 back for your first hotel booking, 5% back for Papa Johns orders and so much more. How cool is that? Getting p...

Time marches on...

As I sit here writing this, I can't help but feel a bit emotional. I have no clue where time has gone. I attended a transition meeting for my son today and we discussed his next venture- Kindergarten! I swear it took everything in me not to break out into a bout of ugly crying. I feel as though I just had him yesterday. He has come so far from his stay in the hospital at birth for jaundice to his start of speech therapy at school. He has grown quite a bit and is talking up a storm. He is so smart and is learning so much more every day. He is super excited though to be able to ride the big bus with the big kids. I feel like this may be harder for me than it will for him. Ha! My daughter will be 3 in March and she is soon to go off to start pre school. I'm not quite sure she knows what school is just yet but she is just as excited. She knows she gets to wear a backpack and leave the house! She gets plenty of interaction through play with her brother, but I know peer interaction ...

FurBliss Product Review!

As you know, we are pet parents. Our furbaby Roxxi is almost ten years old now and is a Corgi/Shiba Inu mix. She gets most of her features from her Corgi side- her short stubby legs, and small-ish frame. Her crazy shedding she most definitely gets from her Shiba Inu side. I had the opportunity to try out the FurBliss pet hair brush.  "The No Fuss Brush" There are a variety of sizes depending on what size dog you have. I chose the yellow brush which is for medium and large breed dogs with short hair. There are so many great features. It is made from a soft silicone. Of course there is the main part which is for brushing and de-shedding. It has long and short flexible pieces that really grab the dog's fur while being gentle and massaging. Although I  used it while Roxxi was sitting calmly on her bed, it can also be used while your pet is wet.  I really like how gentle it is on her fur while still doing a good job of de-shedding her. I have tri...

AncordWorks Shower/Outdoor Speaker Review!

We are very fond of music in our household. My husband loves listening to Country, Rock, Alternative and Oldies while I love Pop, Country and some hip/hop and RnB. Together, there is always the sweet sound of music forever playing while our kids are belting out lyrics as best as they can. My husband is particularly fond of listening to his favorite songs while in the shower. While he has a well taken care of iPhone 6s plus, the songs are often drowned out by the force of the shower. It is available in 3 great colors. I had the pleasure of trying out this AncordWorks Shower/Outdoor Speaker and was pretty impressed. To start off, there are three different colors to choose from: Army Green, Black, and Orange. It is a nice palm sized speaker, it is waterproof and comes with a few nice accessories.  There is a carabiner to clip onto the top of the speaker for use outdoors. You can clip it onto your purse at the park or your backpack while hiking and enjoy your favor...

Mochi Product Review!

I received the following product at a discounted rate in exchange for a review, but all opinions are my own. Despite the fact that it is well after the Holiday Season, we all still love to get cool toys to play with. It took all I had in me not to mention to my kids that these Mochi toys were on their way. If you have toddlers, you know endless loop of YouTube videos that feature other kids playing with those super cool stretchy toys. Well, now it was our turn! Mochi toys are really neat squishy toys. They are made from a super soft silicone and are made in the shape of different animals and other Kawaii. Look how cute they are! These particular Mochi came from  Amazon and comes in a pack of 12. My kids had no second thoughts about diving right in and playing with them. Look how stretchy!!!   They are all so cute and adorable but my favorite one was this fat cat! I don't know why but it cracked me up and felt very stress relieving to sit there and j...
